ABSTRACT:
The object of the present invention is to provide a new thiazolidinedione derivative exhibiting excellent hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic action.
Thiazolidinedione derivative represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein n represents an integer from 1 to 3; A represents an aromatic 5-membered heterocyclic ring residue which has at least one nitrogen atom as a ring component atom, which is bound via a carbon atom adjacent to the nitrogen atom and which may be substituted; .cndot..cndot..cndot..cndot..cndot..cndot..cndot..cndot. is a single bond or a double bond, or pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, is novel, and shows excellent hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic action.
