ABSTRACT:
A nematic liquid crystal for display devices, capable of presenting a helical structure in a wide temperature range down to -10.degree. C, is provided. This is a mixture of substances taken from two groups of the formulae: ##STR1## wherein n is an integer from 1 to 12.
