Isoxazolidinones of the following formula are herbicides: ##STR1## or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently selected from -hydrogen and-halogen; and R.sub.3 is of the formula ##STR2## wherein n is 0 or 1, and
