ABSTRACT:
A silver halide color photographic material is disclosed. The material contains a coupler represented by a formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and Y independently represent a hydrogen atom or substituent, X represents a hydrogen atom or an atom or group capable of splitting off upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent. The dye images formed with the coupler of the present invention are fast to heat, moisture and light.
