ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic material is described, which contains at least one compound represented by the following formula (I): ##STR1## wherein Z represents an atomic group necessary for forming a 5- or 6-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring, R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group, R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group, R.sub.3 represents a nitrogen-containing 5-membered heterocyclic ring, L.sub.1 and L.sub.2 each represents a methine group and n represents 0 or an integer of 1 to 3.
