ABSTRACT:
Refrigerant compositions include mixtures of 1,1,2-trifluoroethane and a second component wherein the second component is (CF.sub.3).sub.2 NF, (CF.sub.3).sub.3 N, N(CHF.sub.2).sub.2 (CF.sub.3), N(CH.sub.2 F)(CF.sub.3).sub.2, SF.sub.5 CF.sub.2 H.sub.5, SF.sub.5 C.sub.2 F.sub.5, HFC-236ca, HFC-236cb, HFC-236ea, HFC-254cb, HFC-254eb, HFC-263fb, HFC-272ca, HFC-281ea, HFC-281fa, HFC-338mf, HFC-4310mee, butane, cyclopropane, isobutane or propane.
Except for FIG. 7, the invention also relates to azeotropic or azeotrope-like compositions which comprise admixtures of effective amounts of 1,1,2-trifluoroethane and (CF.sub.3).sub.2 NF, (CF.sub.3).sub.3 N, N(CHF.sub.2).sub.2 (CF.sub.3), N(CH.sub.2 F)(CF.sub.3).sub.2, SF.sub.5 CF.sub.2 H, SF.sub.5 C.sub.2 F.sub.5, HFC-236ca, HFC-236cb, HFC-236ea, HFC-254cb, HFC-254eb, HFC-263fb, HFC-272ca, HFC-281ea, HFC-281fa, HFC-338mf, HFC-4310mee, butane, cyclopropane, isobutane or propane to form an azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition.
