ABSTRACT:
Compositions of matter having protein kinase C-modulatory, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and other activities are disclosed. The compounds are derived from tricyclic aromatic heterocyclic compounds incorporating indole, indene, benzofuran or benzothiophene structural elements.
