ABSTRACT:
A magnet wire having a polyamide-imide outer coating is described which is capable of power insertion into coil slots in a locking wire size range by virtue of a specific lubricant outer coating. An internal lubricant composition comprised of esters of fatty alcohols and fatty acids can be added to the polyamide-imide coatings to provide greater ease of insertability.
