ABSTRACT:
A method of preparing halogenated interpolymers wherein .alpha.-olefins are polymerized with nonconjugated polyolefins in the presence of coordination catalysts to prepare interpolymers which are subsequently reacted with suitable halogenating compounds to form new compositions of matter.
