ABSTRACT:
Separation of an aliphatic aminonitrile or an aliphatic diamine from a mixture containing the corresponding cyclic, aliphatic, mono-unsaturated amine by adding caustic compound to the mixture and then distilling the aminonitrile or the diamine at a temperature less than 170.degree. C. and at a pressure of less than 1 atmosphere.
