ABSTRACT:
The present invention is concerned with photo cross-linkable liquid crystalline compounds of the general formula ##STR1## wherein A.sup.1 and A.sup.2 each represent a cross-linkable, mesogenic residue,
liquid crystalline mixtures which contain such compounds and their use in the cross-linked state as optical components.
