ABSTRACT:
A real image type finder optical system comprising, in order from the object side, an objective lens, a reticle, a condenser lens and an eyepiece lens. The reticle has a surface of incidence which is located in the vicinity of a plane on which a primary image is to be formed by the objective lens and is configured so as to diffuse a light bundle in different directions by central portion and marginal portion thereof. This finder optical system is capable of forming a sharp image with distortion favorably corrected, has high accuracy for detecting a focused condition and can be composed compactly.
