ABSTRACT:
In a light beam scanning system, a plurality of laser beams emitted by a plurality of semiconductors are combined into a single laser beam, and the single laser beam is deflected to sweep a surface-to-be-scanned. The oscillation wavelengths of the semiconductor lasers are selected so that the oscillation wavelengths .lambda.i and .lambda.j of any two of the semiconductor lasers satisfy the formula
