ABSTRACT:
Polymeric compounds comprising subunits of the following formulas ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, X, x, y, z, x', y' and z' are as defined in the application. The polymeric compounds are capable of stimulating the immune response system of animals, including humans. The polymeric compounds are useful also in the manufacture of medicaments, including vaccines, for the prophalaxis and treatment of conditions requiring an enhanced immune response.
