ABSTRACT:
A method of safely lowering platelet count in a human which comprises the administration to a human in need thereof of an effective amount of a compound of formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 are, independently, --H, --CH.sub.3, --CO(C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl), or --COAr, where Ar is optionally substituted phenyl;
