ABSTRACT:
There is disclosed a pipe bending machine comprising a movable clamping unit for holding a pipe to be bent and feeding the pipe along a feed path. A slidable guide rail extends in the longitudinal direction of the feed path to guide the pipe. Bending of the pipe is carried out at a pivotable bending table, which carries a template provided, at two opposite sides thereof and in a single plane, with two curved bending surfaces of different radii. Clamping devices are present for clamping the pipe to either one of the surfaces. A displacing device is provided to displace the template in a horizontal plane and relative to the guide rail to compensate for any eccentricity of the center of curvature of either or each of the surfaces with respect to the pivot axis.
