ABSTRACT:
The invention concerns a bicycle pedal of the type comprising coupling means 3,4,5 designed to cooperate with conjugate means of a shoe. This pedal is provided with adjusting means making it possible to fix the shoe for that position which is the most appropriate for the body of the user. To that end the pedal is supported on the pedal shaft by the agency of two intermediate pieces which are mounted in movable manner on one hand with respect to each other and on the other hand with respect to the pedal shaft and the pedal body so as to allow a transverse translational motion (D.sub.T) of said pedal body, a longitudinally translational motion (D.sub.L), a pivoting motion (R.sub.V) about an orthogonal axis V and possibly a pivoting motion (R.sub.L) about the longitudinal axis. Locking means to lock the two movable pieces into the desired position are provided.
