ABSTRACT:
A method is provided for treating dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps) employing an interphenylene 7-oxabicycloheptyl substituted heterocyclic amide prostaglandin analog thromboxane A.sub.2 receptor antagonist such as ifetroban, alone or in combination with a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
