ABSTRACT:
A synthetic resin vessel composed of a sheet of a synthetic resin and having a top opening, wherein: a flange is formed integrally with and along the edge portion of the opening; a continuous ridge protuberance is formed on and along the top face of the flange; and a lid is heat-sealed through the protuberance to close the opening and is subsequently openable by a seal-opening operation, the synthetic resin vessel being characterized in that a projection extending toward the outer periphery is formed in one or both of portions of the protuberance for starting and terminating the seal-opening operation. This synthetic resin vessel has a high sealing property and a good peelability.
