ABSTRACT:
A light-sensitive material comprising a light-sensitive layer which contains silver halide, a reducing agent and a polymerizable compound provided on a support, characterized in that the silver halide and the polymerizable compound are together contained in microcapsules which are dispersed in the light-sensitive layer, and the light-sensitive layer further contains dispersed grains of a hydrophobic organic base compound and/or base precursor having a melting point of from 80.degree. to 180.degree. C. which are arranged outside of the microcapsules.
