ABSTRACT:
A novel titanyl phthalocyanine crystal showing X-ray diffraction peaks at Bragg angles (2.theta..+-.0.2) of 27.2.degree., 24.0.degree., 18.0.degree., 14.3.degree., and 9.5.degree. and an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing the same as a charge generating layer are disclosed. The photoreceptor exhibits high photosensitivity and durability.
