ABSTRACT:
A light-sensitive material comprises a support and a light-sensitive layer. The light-sensitive layer contains silver halide, a reducing agent, an ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable compound and a base precursor. According to the present invention, the light-sensitive layer further contains a urethane polymer having an amino or imino group. The urethane polymer is dissolved in the ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable compound. The polymer has a molecular weight of not less than 2,000. The silver halide, the reducing agent, the polymerizable compound, the base precursor and the urethane polymer are preferably contained in light-sensitive microcapsules which are dispersed in the light-sensitive layer.
