ABSTRACT:
Compositions of improved antioxidant characteristics are provided comprising organic media, normally susceptible to oxidation, e.g., oils of lubricant viscosity and greases prepared therefrom containing a minor amount sufficient to impart antioxidant properties thereto of an admixture of a polydisulfide having at least one unit therein with the following structure: ##STR1## WHERE N IS FROM 2 TO ABOUT 20 AND R and R.sub.1 are hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl; and a compound selected from the group consisting of arylamines and hindered phenols.
