ABSTRACT:
A process is described for the dyeing or printing of polyacrylonitrile materials, which process comprises the use of dyes of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a low-molecular, straight-chain alkyl group, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently of one another each represent a low-molecular alkyl group, R.sub.4 represents an aralkyl group, n represents 2 or 3, and X.sup..crclbar. represents an anion.
The dyeings obtained are distinguished by good build-up properties of the dyes, and the dyes are particularly suitable for trichromatic dyeings.
