The SCUBAll is neutrally buoyant when submerged in water, and has a center of gravity located at the SCUBall's center of buoyancy, and aligned with the axis of hydrodynamic forces. The SCUBall includes a switch, accessible from outside the SCUBall, which upon activation causes said propulsion unit to be energized for a time interval after activation of said switch.
