ABSTRACT:
2,1,3-Benzothiadiazin-4-one-2,2-dioxides are produced by the reaction of esters of anthranilic acid with a sulfamic acid halide in the presence of a solvent and a base at a temperature of from 20.degree. to 100.degree.C. The products are starting materials for the production of dyes and plant protection agents.
