ABSTRACT:
A magnetic recording medium is described, comprising a non-magnetic support having coated thereon an intermediate layer and a magnetic layer having ferromagnetic particles dispersed in a binder, wherein the surface roughness of the coated surface of the support is 0.01 .mu.m or more, the intermediate layer is formed by using a compound that is polymerizable by radiation exposure being exposed to radiation, and the magnetic layer is formed by using a compound as a binder that is polymerizable by electron beam exposure being exposed to an electron beam.
