Description

ABSTRACT:
A method for processing a silver halide color photographic material is disclosed, which comprises processing an imagewise exposed silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer comprising silver chloride or silver chlorobromide containing at least 80 mol % of silver chloride with a color developing solution and thereafter processing the material with a bleach-fixing solution, wherein the bleach-fixing solution contains a ferric complex salt of an organic acid and from about 1.times.10.sup.-2 to about 2 mol of bromide ions and/or from about 5.times.10.sup.-4 to about 5.times.10.sup.-2 mol of iodide ions per liter.
The method for processing a silver halide color photographic material according to the present invention is excellent in desilvering ability, and enables rapid processing to be conducted.
