ABSTRACT:
Two adjacently arranged friction rollers are disposed to form a yarn forming wedge slot. Cover shells for the rollers are respectively directly carried by roller bearings at an axle. The axles are formed as hollow axles through which a suction flow in the region of the wedge slot is created. The drive for the rollers results by means of a direct tangential belt drive on the surface of the shells in the region of one of the roller bearings.
