ABSTRACT:
A very tall but slender multi-use building having at least, and preferably substantially more than, 100 human-occupiable stories. The main structural element of the building is a hollow, vertical prism of reinforced concrete made up of interconnected, substantially planar, vertical walls. Most of the human-occupied floor space is outside the prism. The prism carries substantially the entire load of at least that portion of the building above about the 75th floor.
