ABSTRACT:
There is disclosed a process for producing 5-amino-4-halogeno-1H-pyrazole compounds comprising reacting a compound represented by the following formula (I) with a halogenating agent to obtain a compound represented by the following formula (II): ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group, m is 0 or an integer, and Y represents an organic or inorganic acid radical, ##STR2## wherein R has the same meaning as defined above in formula (I), X represents a halogen atom, n is 0 or an integer, and Z represents an organic or inorganic acid radical.
