ABSTRACT:
Measures of a velocity component during a plurality of time frames of cyclical motion of a region of interest are obtained using contrast cine MRI techniques. A position error is obtained between a known starting location and a calculated cyclical motion and is used for recalculating cyclical motion of the region of interest using the measures of velocity and the measure of error in velocity.
