ABSTRACT:
An improved process for the monoacylation of water-soluble organic amines using 2,4,6-trifluorotriazine in aqueous medium consists in carrying out the reaction in the presence of inorganic and/or organic water-soluble salts and/or water-miscible organic solvents at temperatures below 0.degree. C.
