ABSTRACT:
Amino compounds are applied to steel and aluminum by direct application and lso from solution, and then subjected to ultraviolet radiation to produce photooxidative polymerization of the coating on the surface of the metal. Adherent thin film polymers are thus produced on the metal which resist wetting and are corrosion resistant to prevent rust or oxidation of the metal.
