ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to the utility of certain benzamides as bactericidal agents having the formula ##SPC1##
Wherein R is halogen substituted phenyl, preferably mono or di halogen substituted at least one of which is in the meta position and R' is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and phenyl. Said compounds are bactericidally active.
