ABSTRACT:
Piperidinyl thiacyclic derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein X, Y, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are defined in the specification, are useful in the treatment of allergic diseases and diseases responding to antagonism of 5HT.sub.2 receptors. Pharmaceutical compositions and methods of treatment using these compounds are also disclosed.
