ABSTRACT:
Zwitterionic water-soluble imine corrosion inhibitors of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.3 is an anionically charged group. Preferred zwitterionic imines are the reaction products of the Michael addition of acrylic acid to an imine.
