ABSTRACT:
A composition comprising intracellular or extracellular glucose isomerase may be purified by a method comprising heat treatment at a temperature from about 40.degree. C. to about 80.degree. C. The resultant enzyme solution, when utilized to prepare an immobilized enzyme system, is operationally equivalent to glucose isomerase purified by the traditional physico-chemical methods.
