ABSTRACT:
To provide a chucking apparatus which may impart a sufficient cutting force and an axial holding force to a tool, concave/convex portions which are engaged with each other are formed in a proximal end of the tool and a contact portion with which the proximal end of said tool is brought into contact when said tool is mounted on said chucking apparatus, and an angle defined by rising walls and end faces of the concave/convex portions which face each other is set at an acute angle.
