ABSTRACT:
A primer composition consisting essentially of 75 to 99 percent alkoxymethyltriazine and 1 to 25 percent 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane, 2-(3,4-epoxycyclohexyl)-ethyltrimethoxy silane, 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane, 2-mercaptoethyltrimethoxysilane or a partial hydrolyzate of the silanes is employed to improve wet and dry adhesion of thermoplastics to solid substrates.
