ABSTRACT:
1,2-Dihydro-4H-thieno-[2,3-c][1]benzopyrans of the formulae ##SPC1##
Wherein R is a lower alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbons, R.sub.1 is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbons, R.sub.2 is a lower alkyl group and R.sub.3 is an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a phenyl-lower alkyl group or a cycloalkyl-lower alkyl group. The compounds have analgesic, antihypertensive, antidepressant, anticonvulsant, antianxiety, sedative-hypnotic and/or tranquilization activity.
