ABSTRACT:
A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is described containing a magenta color image forming polymer coupler latex and at least one compound represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group; and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents a tertiary alkyl group and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be the same or different. The disclosed silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material has good film strength, a reduced layer thickness and provides a stable magenta image having an improved sharpness and fastness to light while preventing the formation of yellow stain in non-image areas. A method of forming a color image using the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is also described.
