ABSTRACT:
A process for producing an aldehyde containing a perfluorocarbon group, which comprises hydroformylating an olefin containing a perfluorocarbon group represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.f represents a monovalent perfluorocarbon group, in the presence of a rhodium catalyst.
