ABSTRACT:
An aspherical single lens has a first surface having a radius of curvature r.sub. in the vicinity of the optic axis which lies on the objective side, and a second surface having a radius of curvature r.sub.2 in the vicinity of the optic axis which lies on the image side. The first surface and the second surface both have an aspherical shape in which the radius of curvature becomes gradually greater from the center to the marginal portion. The lens satisfies the following conditions:
