ABSTRACT:
Urethane compositions prepared from terpolymers of a monovinyl aromatic monomer such as styrene, a C.sub.3 -C.sub.7 allylic alcohol and an ester of a C.sub.3 -C.sub.7 allylic alcohol and a C.sub.7 -C.sub.12 monovalent aromatic acid, wherein the terpolymer preferably contains an average of from about 2 to 4 allylic alcohol units and at least one allylic ester unit per molecule.
The compositions are useful as surface coatings, foundry resin binders, molding and encapsulating compounds and in the preparation of rigid and semi-rigid urethane foams.
