ABSTRACT:
The present invention comprises a method for the reconstruction of a cruciate ligament of a patient. A connection device for connecting a cruciate ligament replacement graft to the femur of a patient is also described. The arrangement can result preferably in the femoral end of the graft being held in the femoral hole without any spring or elasticity in the connection between the graft and the femoral bone. At this end of the graft, at least, the practical and theoretical problems of screw fixation are avoided.
