A pressure-sensitive transfer member has an ink layer comprising a pressure-sensitive transferable ink composition containing an oil component and a resin component provided on a substrate, characterized in that the respective solubility parameters .delta..sub.O, .delta..sub.B of the oil and the resin satisfy the following relationship:
