ABSTRACT:
A reversible liquid solid phase change composition comprising hydrated Mg(NO.sub.3).sub.2 and one of the group of Sr(OH).sub.2, SrCO.sub.3, Ba(OH).sub.2, BaO, BaCO.sub.3 and/or NaBO.sub.2 added to the composition in an effective amount to suppress supercooling of the MgNO.sub.3 liquid phase.
