ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic material is disclosed, comprising a support having thereon at least one photographic silver halide emulsion layer containing silver halide grains dispersed in a dispersing medium, wherein in said silver halide grains, a total weight of the portion where at least one polyvalent metal ion is doped in an amount of not less than 1.times.10.sup.-4 mol per mol of the doped silver halide, is at least 10% based on the total weight of said silver halide grains.
