ABSTRACT:
A borehole drilling apparatus having a pneumatically driven hammer mounting a bit, a drill pipe connected to the hammer to supply operating compressed air to drive the hammer and to blow drilling debris therefrom, and a debris conduit in spaced circumscribing relation to the drill pipe having an open end adjacent to the hammer to receive air and debris therefrom and a remote opposite end to discharge said air and debris through the conduit.
